Supporting Technology Advances in Gastroenterology
The Center for GI Innovation and Technology supports innovation and the development of new technology in gastroenterology, hepatology, nutrition and obesity by guiding medical device and therapeutics innovators through the technology development and adoption process.
The center draws on the AGA's long history of serving the GI community and its extensive expertise and knowledge of the field, bringing together industry, investors, inventors, and AGA members to advance new technologies in GI. Ultimately, it serves to advance the science and practice of gastroenterology and the care of patients with disorders of the digestive tract.
Expertise
The center offers a wide range of services that support the development and adoption of new technologies. We make use of an extensive physician and research network with a broad spectrum of expertise.
