The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has mandated the replacement of the ICD-9 code sets with a more robust set of ICD-10 codes, effective Oct. 1, 2014. There are many aspects to ICD-10 that need to be addressed in order for GI practices to successfully transition from ICD-9 to ICD-10.This webinar will go over administrative and clinical changes needed to successfully implement ICD-10. The key impacts to strategic business areas will be discussed along with steps to a successful implementation. In addition, GI clinical case examples will be used to show necessary documentation concepts. There will also be time for questions and answers.
