This one-and-a-half-day course is a clinically focused program that offers you immediately applicable information. General session topics include:

  • Burning Issues in the Upper GI Tract.
  • Following the Yellow Brick Road: Changing Paradigms in Pancreaticobiliary and Hepatic Diseases.
  • Screening, Surveillance, and Molecular Testing for GI Cancers.
  • IBD and IBS: What’s New?
  • Light at the End of the Tunnel: Imaging the Midgut and Beyond.

In addition, a choice of 15 luncheon breakout sessions and 15 clinical challenge sessions give attendees the opportunity to focus on selected topics.

Learning Objectives

After attending this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify areas of controversy in the management of eosinophilic esophagitis, refractory heartburn, Barrett’s esophagitis, functional dyspepsia, and acute gastrointestinal bleeding.
  • Learn to implement the new treatment in hepatitis C and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
  • Learn the different diagnostic modalities to examine the biliary system and pancreas.
  • Increase your knowledge of the newest screening and surveillance tools for gastrointestinal cancers.
  • Review the latest therapies on inflammatory bowel disease and functional bowel disorders.
  • Gain an understanding of the present issues for imaging the small intestine and colon.
