Dates: Nov. 17 & 18, 2010
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Endorsed by the AGA Institute.
Overview:
Held in Japan and in the U.S. since 2006, the Japan & U.S. Collaboration Conference in Gastroenterology (JUCC) is designed to foster the academic development of young Japanese and U.S. researchers and to promote international relations between gastroenterologists from the two countries.
The main session of the conference, named the “Counterpart Session,” allows young Japanese and U.S. researchers to each present a talk centered around one topic pertaining to the upper or the lower GI tract as designated by the meeting organizers. Following the presentations, the topic is discussed further by the speakers, the moderators, as well as members of the audience in an interactive session.
