ABIM Guidebooks
AGA Institute Guidebooks to ABIM Recertification provides concise one- and two-page monographs linked to each of the questions in the ABIM Gastroenterology Modules for ABIM Recertification. Currently, 2008, and 2009 Annual Updates are available for diplomates. Completion of each annual update is worth 10 MOC points towards ABIM recertification. Actual ABIM SEP Module questions are not included in the guidebooks, but are available upon request from the ABIM.
Medical knowledge modules provide evidence of a commitment to lifelong learning and involvement in periodic self-assessment to guide continuing learning. Each module allows diplomates to perform a diagnostic self-assessment of their strengths and weaknesses in important aspects of the knowledge base underlying each certification area.
