GI Coding Certification
The AGA Institute has partnered with the Professional Association of Healthcare Coding Specialists (PAHCS) and McVey Associates, Inc. to provide a certification program for GI physicians and practice coders. The program includes a series of preparatory courses, each of which is followed by a five-hour GI Coding Specialist certification exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, participants are jointly certified by the AGA Institute and PAHCS.
Courses run from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. both days. The exam is held on the third day. Courses are designed for the novice and experienced coder. You may participate in the course only.

Fees:
- AGA Member: $595 for the first person; $570 for each additional person
- Nonmember: $620 for the first person; $595 for each additional person
Register for the exam through PAHCS. The exam registration fee is $285.
