Dr. Yang is the professor and chair of medicine at Stony Brook University in New York. Dr. Yang is a renowned physician scientist with a special research interest in the area of molecular genetics of colorectal cancer (CRC). His clinical focus is on hereditary CRC syndromes.
Dr. Allen is a partner at Minnesota Gastroenterology, one of the largest fully integrated independent gastroenterology practices in the country. He is the community practice councillor for the AGA Governing Board and leads the "practice" portion of the AGA Institute’s strategic plan. He is also the chair of the Executive Management Board of the AGA Digestive Health Outcomes Registry™. He is an adjunct professor of medicine at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and is active in teaching, clinical research and education.
