Discounts Ending for DDW®, Spring Postgraduate Course Registration

April 04, 2013

Next Wednesday, April 10, is the last day for early bird registration for both DDW® and the AGA Spring Postgraduate Course, Putting Patients First: Actionable Evidence for Clinical Practice. After Wednesday, registration rates will go up by $75 for the course and $100 for DDW.

Attendees at this year's postgraduate course will benefit from a new feature implemented by course director Brennan Spiegel, MD, MSHS, AGAF, FACG, and co-directors Neena Abraham, MD, MSCE, FACG, FASGE, and Corey Siegel, MD, MS. The course directors have asked each speaker to end his or her talk with three actionable points for immediate patient care, and the course will end with a summary of 10 “best of the best” action points selected by the directors.

With general sessions focusing on the upper GI tract, functional GI disorders, liver and pancreatobiliary disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and the colon, attendees will leave the course with new ideas for the diagnosis and management of common GI and liver disorders. Attendees will also learn how to integrate social media, patient-provider portals, novel apps and wireless sensors into daily practice in a new general session focused on emerging technologies.

The course will be held May 18 and 19 during DDW (May 18–21). Register today to attend at the discounted rate and earn up to 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
