2018 James Freston Conference: call for abstracts

Give greater visibility to your obesity and metabolic disease research by submitting an abstract for consideration as an oral or poster presentation.

Showcase your obesity and metabolic disease research in a small, intimate setting and receive valuable feedback from your peers and expert faculty. 

Students, trainees and junior faculty are invited to submit an abstract for consideration as an oral or poster presentation at the 2018 James W. Freston Conference, which will be held Aug. 18 and 19, 2018, and focuses on delving deeper into the pathophysiology of obesity and metabolic disease to advance treatment.

Abstracts are due no later than Monday, June 18, 2018. Only a select number of abstracts will be chosen for oral presentation. Notification regarding the status of abstracts will be sent via email in the early part of July 2018. For questions or concerns, contact Erica DeBaggis at agacouncil@gastro.org.

Travel awards available
Travel awards in the amount of $500 will be provided to 10 individuals who submit outstanding abstracts as determined by the conference organizing committee.
