July 13, 2017

AGA patient education resource, Crohn’s Disease – What You Need to Know, acknowledged with 2017 Digital Health Award.

The Digital Health Awards, which honor the world’s best digital health resources, has presented AGA with their Silver Award for the “Crohn’s Disease — What You Need To Know” patient go-to-guide.

This Crohn’s disease patient guide utilizes education from the AGA Patient Info Center, but also incorporates interactive features, such as quizzes and videos. The resource explains the condition, testing and treatment options, and lifestyle recommendations. It also includes takeaway items, like symptoms trackers, medication and food logs, and questions to ask your doctor. Everything is written at a low literacy level, so it is accessible by many audiences, and is visually appealing.

Explore the guide or send it to your patients.

Free printed versions of the guide are available for order here.

Get your patients engaged in their care with all of AGA’s patient education resources. Take a look at AGA’s entire digital library of patient education.

This guide was developed with funding from Takeda Pharmaceuticals.
