About Journal CME
Each month, subscribers to CGH and Gastrenterology can earn CME and maintenance of certification (MOC) points through exams based on articles published in these AGA journals. Each exam consists of a single test with short questions followed by a brief post-test evaluation. Credit can be earned for up to one year after the exam has been published.

The AGA Institute is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide CME for physicians. Journal-based CME activity is designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. Successful completion of each CME activity, including participation in the evaluation component, allows the physician to earn up to 1 MOC point in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) MOC program. Eligible participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity.
