IBD Research Grant Opportunity

Feb. 13, 2017

$150K grant available through 2017 ASPIRE IBD Research Awards program.

AGA wants to let our members know about a new research grant opportunity. The 2017 ASPIRE Inflammatory Bowel Disease Research Awards program is accepting applications through March 17, 2017. This program will fund up to $150,000 per research project, with larger grants considered depending on scope and merit of proposal.

The ASPIRE (Advancing Science through Pfizer Investigator Research Exchange) program is a competitive, peer-reviewed grants program for investigators in the U.S. ASPIRE seeks to support basic science, translational and clinical research that advances medical knowledge in the pathogenesis, treatment and prevention of IBD. It is expected that projects will be completed within two years of being funded, and that results will be suitable for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
