New for 2013, AGA-ASGE Presidential Plenary a First at DDW®

May 16, 2013

A first at DDW, the AGA-ASGE Presidential Plenary features a collaborative approach toward presenting promising research in gastroenterology and GI endoscopy.

AGA and ASGE will present the most novel, innovative research in gastroenterology and GI endoscopy at this collaborative session for DDW® 2013. The first half of the plenary will feature poster presentations from promising researchers on a variety of clinical topics. During the second half of the plenary, AGA and ASGE leadership take a look at what’s on the horizon for GI health care such as the gut microbiome and endoscopic techniques for treating Barrett’s esophagus. With postgraduate courses for each society being scheduled around this new session, attendees will have no problem keeping up to date with the latest research — without missing other DDW educational opportunities.
