Subsidize Your Travel Costs to DDW®: Abstract and Travel Awards

Travel grants are available for AGA trainee, student and medical resident members.

A variety of travel award deadlines for Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2017 are approaching soon. Mark your calendar for these awards below, offered by the AGA Research Foundation:

  • AGA-GRG Fellow Abstract Award: Travel awards are available to fellows who submitted first authored abstracts selected by AGA for presentation at DDW 2017. The top ranked abstract will be selected as Abstract of the Year and the recipient will receive a $1,000 prize. Apply by Feb. 24, 2017.
  • AGA-Moti L. & Kamla Rustgi International Travel Awards: This award provides $750 to two young basic, translational or clinical investigators residing outside of North America to support their travel and related expenses to attend DDW 2017. Apply by Feb. 24, 2017.
  • AGA Student Abstract Prizes: Travel awards will be given to high school, undergraduate, graduate and medical students who have submitted abstracts selected by AGA to be presented during DDW 2017. Apply by Feb. 24, 2017.
