Sign Up for Free 2017 Regional Practice Workshops
Jan. 3, 2017
During these free workshops in February and April, GI leaders will address topics rarely discussed in fellowship for early-career GIs.
This past December, AGA held the first of its five scheduled Regional Practice Skills Workshops in New York, NY. The workshop marks the continuation of AGA’s initiative to help address the needs of trainees and early-career GIs as they consider career options post-fellowship.
More than 40 participants received practical information on what it takes to build a successful career in a variety of practice settings. Sessions addressed finding and negotiating job opportunities, financial security, the impact of health-care reform on the GI practice and more.
If you missed the December workshop, be sure to mark your calendar for the upcoming workshops in February and April. Program content for the remaining workshops will cover similar topics and registration is free to both AGA members and nonmembers.
