About the Instructors

Kimberly Carter, MS, PA-C

Kimberly Carter is a physician assistant in the Division of Gastroenterology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. While her primary focus is general luminal GI disorders, she manages the celiac and complex inflammatory bowel disease patients as well. Ms. Carter has a background in dietetics with a subspecialty focus in Enteral Nutrition Support. Kimberly has a passion for academia and an interest in the development of physician assistant studies. Currently, Ms. Carter resides with her husband in Wilmington, DE and is a proud mother of an 18 month old son. Kimberly enjoys traveling with her family and learning the art of jewelery making and furniture restoration.
