About the Instructors

Patrick M. Horne, MSN, ARNP

Patrick Horne received his BSN from the University of Florida in 2006 and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida in 2007.  He is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Advanced Registered Family Nurse Practitioner.  Patrick has worked at the University of Florida since July 2006.  He is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and editor of the Journal of Gastroenterology, Pancreatology & Liver Disorders. He was the 2009/2010 AASLD NP/PA Clinical Fellowship Grant recipient and has received educational grants to establish a preceptorship program in the management of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
