CT Colonography
Computed tomographic (CT) colonography is a procedure used to view the colon to check for polyps, colorectal cancer and other GI diseases. CT colonography is sometimes called a virtual colonoscopy. CT colonography uses a CT or MRI machine and a colonoscope to produce images of the rectum and colon from many different angles.
