Question Submission and Correspondence

Submit your questions online. As of Dec. 15, 2016, members pay $25 per question. Nonmembers pay $50 per question. Questions will be answered within two business days upon receipt and will be sent via an email response. Answers will come from experts holding AAPC’s CGIC certification.

  • Before submitting a question, refer to the Coding & Billing Corner's FAQ page. You won't have to use one of your free questions and may find your answer quickly.
  • All coding and billing inquiries must be submitted online. Please login using your AGA account. You can create a new account if you have not already done so.
  • Submit applicable procedure notes when prompted to support the context of your question.

Pricing

As of Dec. 15, 2016, members pay $25 per question. Nonmembers pay $50 per question. Payment is required at the time of request. 

The AGA's Billing and Coding Consultation Coding Services cover general question about appropriateness of coding for procedures and visits and questions related to acceptable billing practices. In-depth coding and review of operative notes and patient charts may incur additional costs. You will be contacted directly if your request is deemed by AAPC's CGIC experts to be above and beyond the services provided by the AGA institute.
