Gastroenterology Research Group (GRG) Awards
Fellow Travel and Abstract of the Year Awards
This award was created to encourage trainees to become more involved in digestive disease research. Eight $500 awards will be presented to trainees who submitted outstanding first authored abstracts that were selected by the AGA for presentation at DDW®. The top ranked of the eight selected abstracts will be selected as the Abstract of the Year and the recipient will receive a $1,000 prize. In addition, he/she will be recognized at the GRG Spring Symposium during 2013 DDW in Orlando, FL.
Young Investigator Award in Basic Science
This award will recognize a young investigator who has demonstrated specific achievements in the areas of digestive and/or liver diseases research. The award recipient will receive a $3,000 prize and will be recognized during the GRG Spring Symposium at 2013 DDW in Orlando, FL.
Young Investigator Award in Clinical Science
This award will recognize a young investigator who who has performed major clinical or outcomes research in the field of gastroenterology. The award recipient will receive a $3,000 prize and will be recognized during the GRG Spring Symposium at 2013 DDW in Orlando, FL.
