Applicants Sought for Editor of AGA Press

 

In 2006 the American Gastroenterological Association Press (AGAP) will begin publishing books and other print and electronic non-periodical publications. The mission of the AGAP will be to advance cutting-edge science in the field of gastroenterology, foster innovative practice in the treatment of GI-related diseases and alleviate suffering from GI disorders through increased public awareness.

 

To achieve this end, the AGA is accepting applications for the position of editor-in-chief of the AGAP editorial advisory board. The editor will appoint four associate editors and, in cooperation with the National Office staff, select titles, oversee the peer review process, maintain the fiscal integrity of the AGAP and serve as the AGAP’s voice to various internal and external audiences.
