Center for Quality in Practice
The AGA Center for Quality in Practice (the Center) was launched July 2005 to enhance quality and safety in the practice of gastroenterology through the implementation of the recommendations of the AGA Task Force on Quality
. The Center activities are designed to help members assess and improve quality in their practice.
To that end the Center has been instrumental in assuring that GI has a place at the National Quality table and influences the national agenda through membership and active participation in the National Quality Forum, the AQA Alliance and the AMA Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement.
