2013 Freston Conference: Submit an Abstract for Poster Presentation

Conference coordinators are now accepting abstracts for poster presentation at the 2013 Freston conference. This is an opportunity to share your research with expert faculty and your peers, receiving valuable feedback in the process.

Examine all aspects of Barrett’s esophagus to explore new theories in earlier detection and treatment. You will interact with more than 20 of the world’s foremost investigators on topics such as molecular patho-genesis, animal models, stem cells, clinical management and ablation. The 2013 conference will be held in Chicago, IL, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, Aug. 17 and 18.

Call for Abstracts
Share your Barrett's esophagus research at the 2013 Freston Conference in a small, relaxed setting. Expert faculty and your peers will provide valuable feedback that could help further, and strengthen, your research. Submit an abstract for poster presentation to Lee Krinzman at lkrinzman@gastro.org. Abstracts are due Monday, June 17, 2013. Those who submit an abstract for poster presentation will be notified of its status on or before Wednesday, July 17.

Posters will be presented during the scheduled lunch break on Saturday, Aug. 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Travel awards will be given to 14 individuals (students, trainees and selected junior faculty) who submit outstanding abstracts for poster presentation as determined by the conference organizing committee. Those who receive travel awards are expected to attend the conference and present their poster.

This conference is funded by the Takeda Endowment in support of the James W. Freston Single Topic Conference.
