AGA to Offer 12 Workshops on IBD, HCV Care

March 14, 2016

The workshops will focus on decision making in HCV and IBD care, and will be conducted across the US.

Starting in April, AGA will provide 12 free workshops focusing on IBD and HCV care. The workshops, which will be conducted across the country, seek to engage gastroenterologists and managed-care decision makers in collaborative learning and problem solving.

Experts in HCV, IBD and managed-care pharmacy will bring their perspectives and lead participants in discussing the latest clinical evidence and identifying strategies to improve inter-professional communication, navigate managed-care requirements and leverage resources to improve patient outcomes. AGA has partnered with PRIME Education Inc. and the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) to present the workshops.

Workshop discussions will center around case scenarios that reflect the most relevant and challenging issues faced by health-care professionals in making treatment and policy decisions for patients with HCV or IBD.
