Join the March Movement

Feb. 25, 2016

Use AGA tools, including videos and infographics, to spread the word about the importance of getting screened.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month — the time of year when physicians, advocates, patients and survivors all come together to raise awareness of colorectal cancer screening and prevention.

It’s easy for you to join the conversation. Visit CRCAwareness.gastro.org to find videos and infographics you can download and share on social media or on your practice’s website. We also have a cover photo, which you can use on your personal Twitter or Facebook account, or on your practice’s page.

Mark Your Calendar
Friday, March 4, is national Dress in Blue Day. Ask your office staff to dress up in blue and snap a picture to be posted on social media and on your practice’s website. You can also email your Dress in Blue Day photo to communications@gastro.org for posting on our CRC website and on AGA’s social media accounts.

Join us on Tuesday, March 22, at 1 p.m. ET for a Twitter chat, co-sponsored by AGA and Everyday Health. We'll be using the hashtag #HealthTalk. We’ll be talking about screening guidelines, risk factors and other important topics for patients.
