Grant Opportunity for CRC Research

SU2C will provide three years of funding dedicated to improving treatment for the disease. Letters of intent for the grant are due Dec. 1.

Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) recently announced that it will commit up to $7 million to a new "Dream Team" to research colorectal cancer and find ways to improve treatment for the disease, which is the second-leading cause of cancer death among men and women combined in the U.S.

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the organization's scientific partner, is inviting proposals from the scientific community to form the Dream Team, which will be the second funded by Stand Up to Cancer focused on CRC research.

Initial proposeals are due Dec. 1, 2016, and full proposals from those who are invited is Feb. 20, 2017. There are no residency status or citizenship restrictions.
