Travel Awards Available for the 2013 James W. Freston Conference

May 30, 2013

Share your Barrett's esophagus research with investigators from around the world to receive valuable feedback and network with attendees to foster future collaborations.

The 2013 Freston Conference presents an excellent opportunity for students, trainees and junior gastroenterologists to share their Barrett's esophagus research by submitting an abstract for poster presentation. With its small and relaxed environment, the conference allows presenter and attendee to participate in open discussion to generate feedback that could help further and strengthen the presenter's research. Presenters also play a part in helping to formulate up-to-date, state-of-the-art consensus guidelines in the fields of Barrett's esophagus and esophageal adenocarcinoma.

Travel awards will be given to 14 individuals (students, trainees and junior gastroenterologists) who submit outstanding abstracts for poster presentation as determined by the conference organizing committee. Those who receive travel awards are expected to attend the conference and present their poster.

Do not delay. Submit your abstract to Lee Krinzman at lkrinzman@gastro.org by Friday, July 12. Those who submit an abstract will be notified during the week of July 20, as to the status of their abstract.
