About the Instructors

Jennifer Christie, MD

Dr. Jennifer Christie is an associate professor of medicine in the Division of Digestive Diseases at the Emory School of Medicine and Director of Gastrointestinal Motility as well as Director of Clinical Research. Dr. Christie’s clinical interests include GERD, women’s gastrointestinal health, functional bowel disorders, and gastrointestinal dysmotility.   Her current research is focused on chronic constipation, fecal incontinence as well as gastroparesis.  She has written several articles in peer reviewed medical journals and has presented at local and national professional conferences on topics related to gastrointestinal motility and functional bowel disorders.
